IUniverse is withholding my royalties.

Complaint: '09 was the one & last time iUniverse send me ck for $41.34 royalties on my bk published in '05. Nothing since even thou I showed them how it is promoted all over the Internet in soft cover & e-book in several languages. And searching the Internet I find dozens of complaints like mine. How many $$$$ is iUniverse holding? Their excuse when I contacted them was:"......sorry but we can't post reports unless we receive information from our channel vendors." In '08-'09 when I complaint their excuse was:"You only have $19.95 in your royalties account. Cann't mail ck for less than $25. but when I wrote complaints on Internet, the $41.34 was mailed to me by return mail. I see enough complaints on the Internet now, iUniverse, what are you waiting for?

In 1999 a novel entitled "Out of Egypt, A Letter to Sophie" was completed. A man took the original manuscript (Copyright TXu001358129), changed it from third person to first, changed straight quotes to curly quotes and commas, changed a few words, added an epilogue and...

Like so many of the others who have complained, I agree that I-Universe has morphed into a consumer unfriendly and difficult company to work with. I now have a book with them and have paid nearly $4,000 over a five month period and have seen nothing but stalling, ineptitude, and borderline incompetence from those persons assigned to work with me on my book.

They make promises to contact me and don't do what they say they will do. Today is another example of that. Their service agreement is legalize mumbo jumbo. I will seek an attorney in Bloomington to confront this horrendous company.

Too bad.

A few years ago I published a book with them and had a good experience. Not so presently!

Reviews of self publishing houses often give iUniverse high ratings. But that was before they were purchased by a holding company. Since then, their services have maddeningly deteriorated. The former reviews do not apply. In early 2009, iUniverse was purchased by a...

Do not pay for any marketing or promotion with iuniverse. Non of them work and that's how they scam more and more money out of people for nothing.

They are part of Author Solutions which has links with the Mafia. All scam. You will never be paid any royalties.

And what's worse you could have done it allfor free with kobo writing life. Putting books into print is a complete waste of money for a self publisher but people are making a LOT of money through self publishing.

AuthorHouse and iUniverse are the same company now. beware. iUniverse/AuthorHouse ranks among the top five companies for inefficiency I submitted a manuscript (Echoes Through Time) for publication on April 17, 2008. It is now August 7, 2008 and I am still in the author...
